Day of Service
There will be a day of service on January 6th, at both Sunnyside and Winding Ridge Elementary. We are looking for volunteers who can head over after the 10:30am service to help refresh classrooms, bulletin boards, sharpen pencils, or anything else that the teachers need help with. Our goal is to place 15 volunteers at each school. The hours we’ll be at the schools are 11:30am-2pm, however, volunteers can stay as long as they are available. We’ll be providing pizza for lunch. Childcare will be provided at Sunnyside Elementary only. Click here to signup!
On Saturday, January 12th, Gateway will be serving a home-cooked meal to the hard-working firefighters across the street at Firehouse #36. Children are also encouraged to attend, tour the station, and have cookies with the firefighters. Parents must accompany children at the station. If your child would like to tour the fire station, you can sign them up here!
We will be making meatloaf and are looking for volunteers to make some side dishes to feed 8 hungry firefighters. We’re also looking for 2-3 people to make some desserts. If you are interested in helping out, you can sign up here!
